Rock Band, Rock Band 2, Rock Band: The Beatles, Lego Rock Band, Rock Band: Green Day, Rock Band 3

Music games have been left out in the cold.
The only reason to ever play music games is if your playing with your friends, and having fun with the game.
Even since Activision gained rights to the Guitar Hero series, its never been the same.
To me, Guitar Hero is just another copycat of the original.
What the original did, Harmonix improved on with the Rock Band series.
For the first time, the band atmosphere would finally take place.
With all the DLC, music, variety, and work that Harmonix has put into over the years has really made a great statement.
The Rock Band series gave me more reason to become a drummer, and that's why my gamertag is Drumrush7.
And now for a few questions:
1. Have you ever played any Rock Band games?
2. Rock Band, Guitar Hero, or neither?
3. Have you ever played a music game?

Both Rock Band and Lego Rock Band.

Only sang whilst drunk on the former, played guitar on the latter whilst sober.

Generally I stay away from music games, having little natural rhythm.

I've rocked out on the Drums to Rush and Boston!

Lego rockband just seems...unnecessary...

1: i have not played any rock band games.
2: Rock Band and Guitar Hero need to die already. they're both fun series' but there's no reason to have so many sequels and spinoffs. Here is the philosophy behind those games: If you beat a dead horse long enough its erratic twitching will resemble life.

played a music game? GH3, even thou i love almost all the songs in it and enjoy singing them... actually trying to play that guitar for me is painful... i suck so bad lol... i completed the easy part, that's all lol

At least there are some people who still know about Rock Band.

I played some of Harmonics first rhythm games on the PS2 Frequency and it's sequel Amplitude. I used to play GH but we switched to RB and had a full band. We were never all that good but it was always a good time!! Since we stopped doing that I haven't really gotten into anything new since RB2.

I'm glad that there are still plenty of music game lovers out there.
Green Day Rock Band is coming June 8th.
Rock Band 3 is coming this fall and will contain further details soon.

Seriously? Green Day Rock Band? can they go any lower?

The only thing to worry about now is Rock Band 3.
In this game, you get to learn how to play guitar, there's more music, and possible support for your old Rock Band songs.
Rock Band 3 is trying to go realistic.

Rock Band 3 is finally going to come out, and it's more realistic than ever before.

When I have $500, I might get all I need out of this game.
